Modular Solutions

IEMS offers off-site manufactured Modular Solutions to its clients.

In the heart of the City, State of the art Modular Factory is built on a 14,000 sq. ft. facility in Ras Al Khor to ensure the rapid delivery throughout to meet the requirements of our projects in U.A.E. The pre-fabricated modular frames are constructed in a controlled environment with precision to reduce the space constraints and increase efficiency, quality and reliability in a cost and time effective manner.
Key Benefits that Modular Solutions bring to a Project:
Quality Control
Faster Completion Time
Reducing Labor Costs
Program Certainty, Sustainable, Bespoke Designs
Overall Facility Improvement
Improved Safety
Through Modular Solutions, IEMS has achieved reduction in labour through the use of off-site prefabrication and over 15% reduction in project time primarily through the use of prefabrication.

Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent, 3D model-based process that helps MEP professionals design, detail, document, and fabricate building systems more efficiently.

With BIM, project teams improve collaboration, share data, and speed up project delivery from design to construction. One of the main benefits of BIM (Building Information Modelling) is that it offers an early insight into critical design data in real-time scenarios directly from the architectural model. This is a real benefit for MEP engineers as it gives them access to critical information about:
  • Ceiling elevations
  • Rooms
  • Walls with electrical devices
  • Walls with plumbing
Using BIM, MEP engineers can make better design decisions earlier to optimize designs, reduce risk, and improve accuracy and constructability.
At IEMS, we have a dedicated BIM team for all our projects that help to provide automation in the following
  • 3D BIM MEP Model including all services up to LOD 500
  • MEP Services coordination model along with clash reports
  • Coordinated shop drawings (extracted from BIM Model)
  • Asset Information Model
  • Bills of Quantities extracted from BIM Mode
  • High resolution rendered model images
Since implementing BIM, we have realized the following positive impacts for our business and Clients;
Reduction in rework through MEP Coordination and clash detections. This is achieved through minimizing material wastage due to co-ordination clashes
